Site Manager

Overview I am currently seeking experienced Site Managers to oversee and control the daily works of major cladding remediation projects in value between £5-£10million based in London. Responsibilities * Must have a positive “can do” work ethic. * Carry an in date SMSTS/SSSTS and CSCS card. * Have First Aid/Emergency first aid at work qualifications. * Can organise and control the daily workings of upwards to 40+ operatives. * Be punctual. * Have a good understanding of all matters relating to H+S. * Have a firm grasp on tech software systems, such as OneDrive / InnDex etc. * Be able to administer site inductions in a clear and concise manner. * Carry out and record daily a detailed site diary. * Be able to administer toolbox talks weekly and when further required. * Carry out and record daily morning briefings. * Be proficient in record keeping. This is vitally important, as in our profession all remediated elements of the buildings must be thoroughly and clearly recorded on a daily basis via InnDex app. This is one of the most important aspects of the role, as these inspections will form the main part of the Gateway 3 submission to the BSR (building safety regulator). Sectional and Practical completion certificates will be dependent on these detailed referenced inspections being carried out and always made available to the client. These inspections showcase that all aspects of the building are being built/remediated to the agreed/proper design standard. * Have a good understanding of the cladding remediation sector and why these buildings are at risk until remediated. * Have a good understanding of project master programs and keeping sub-contractors in line to meet programs dates. * Carry out and record daily/weekly safety inspections. * Make sure the site is ALWAYS clean, safe, and presentable. * Organise skip exchanges in advance of being required. * Make sure site is always safe and secure. * Be able to greet and interact with residents in a polite and professional manner. Salary: Negotiable and competitive salary package for the right candidate. Vehicle supplied if needed.
