Van Technician

LCV Technician / Van Technician required in the East London area.

• Basic salary ranges between £32,000 to £39,000 p.a. depending on experience and relevant qualifications held.

• HGV Class 1 driving licence is ideal, if you don’t have this they will put you through training.

We are recruiting on behalf of our Automotive Fleet Service Client for a LCV Technician / Van Technician. 

As a Van Technician / LCV Technician for our client you will be required to service and repair Light Commercial Vehicles in an efficient manner ensuring they are fixed to the high standards as dictated by our Client.

Responsibilities of a Van Technician / LCV Technician for our Client

• General Servicing
• Repair of Vehicle Defects
• MOT preparation and repair work
• Vehicle Inspection
• Completion of associated paperwork
• Diagnostics

Van Technician / LCV Technician person specification

• Fully Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a LCV Technician / Van Technician
• Working experience within a busy LCV Workshop
• Have an up-to-date knowledge of current repair methods
• Driving Licence is Essential.
• Have served a recognised apprenticeship in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, also holding BTEC/HNC Level or City and Guilds plus relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.

The salary of this LCV Technician / Van Technician position is £39,000 basic.

The hours of work within this LCV Technician / Van Technician role are 37.5 hour week – 7.00am to 6.00pm / 4 day on 4 days off rota over a 7 week cycle
