Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

The Manager, Clinical Services is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the crisis response center while providing clinical oversight to various teams. This role includes managing day-to-day operations such as patient flow, adherence to policies and procedures, and supervision of staff. The manager will oversee and provide clinical leadership to a Multidisciplinary Team, which includes social services, behavioral health specialists, certified peer specialists, certified recovery specialists, unit coordinators, and shift supervisors. The position requires maintaining high-quality service delivery and ensuring the effective functioning of the crisis center. This position works in collaboration with the leadership team to ensure the highest quality service provision to the individuals. This position works with community stakeholders to optimize the referral and resource process for individuals.

* Manage Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of a 24/7/365 crisis facility to ensure smooth functioning and timely individuals in crisis care. Develops, implements, and maintains appropriate clinical programming and delivery of services in collaboration with Medical/Clinical Leadership. * Collaborates with Nursing Manager: Works closely with the Nursing Manager to ensure quality standards are consistently met and maintained within the facility. * Ensures Compliance with Shared Services: Coordinates with shared services (medical records, billing, risk management, facilities, and IT) to ensure compliance with all regulatory and operational standards. * Staffing Management: Oversees facility staffing by utilizing the scheduling database to ensure adequate and appropriate coverage at all times. May provide clinical supervision to unlicensed or master's level licensed employees in the company who are pursuing licensure, as needed, and contributes to their clinical and professional development. * Performance Management: Manages the annual performance review process for staff, providing timely and constructive feedback. * Address Employee Conduct: Responds promptly and efficiently to any staff behavioral issues, ensuring corrective action is taken as needed to maintain a positive work environment. * Performs all other duties as assigned. * Direct Reporting: * Directly supervises shift supervisors, case managers, certified recovery specialists, certified peer specialists, and unit coordinators. * Provides leadership and guidance to any direct service staff to ensure quality provision of services.

* Supervisory Functions: * Oversees work schedule and daily activities of shift supervisors, case managers, certified recovery specialists, certified peer specialists, and unit coordinators. * Assigned full authority for employment actions including selection, training, coaching, performance reviews, and disciplinary action.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

* Master's Degree in a behavioral health related field * Current licensure by Pennsylvania Board of Behavioral Health as a Licensed Mental Health Professional or a Mental Health Professional who is license-eligible and registered with a board of the Department of Health Professionals * 5 years of behavioral health or relevant experience * 1 year of supervisory or management experience * Must be able to perform Safe Clinch patient restraint techniques * Must pass the following background checks: * Child Abuse Clearance * FBI Criminal Background Check * Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check * Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

* The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated, including showing proper documentation, or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Company's exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment

It would be great if you had:

* Current licensure by Pennsylvania Board of Behavioral Health (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) and identified as a Clinical Supervisor * Prior experience providing crisis services and/or working in a psychiatric facility * Knowledge of and experience with PA 302 involuntary process

The standard hiring range for this position in Harrisburg, PA is $86,400 - $118,000 per year. The exact compensation will be based on factors such as years of experience, competency, and skill level.
