Technical Services Officer Up to £38,000 Hertfordshire Job Reference: GG/00226 Overview Your opportunity to join a growing Technical team within an expanding food manufacturer. As Technical Services Officer you will play a vital role in the maintenance of the Quality Management Systems as well as contributing to the wider Technical function by assisting with things such as external audits, internal audits and leading the HACCP team, as well as deputising for the Quality Manager. The Role * Lead the HACCP team and site external audits. * Develop and maintain the Quality Manager System (QMS) for the site. * Ensure integrity and food defence risks are monitored, assessed and controls in place. * Liaison with 2nd and 3rd party service providers which assure food safety, legality and integrity. * Undertake internal audits to assure systems are operating effectively. * Review and maintain internal product and packaging quality specifications and due diligence. * Working with site operations and maintenance teams to ensure standards are maintained. * Undertaking traceability and mass balance tests, customer complaint investigations, etc. * Support Quality Manager with site quality team management. * Deputise for Quality Manager as required. * Provide reports on site performance, plus remedial and improvement plans.
