Redstone Commodity Search are working with an established Danish Commodities Trading House, in their search for a Lead Quantitative Researcher to join the growing Energy team. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Focus on EU power and Gas markets, seeking out new opportunities and trends. Build models to power quantitative strategies. Conduct research and statistical analysis. Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting within the Energy Market. Work with large data sets to predict and test statistical market patterns. Role reports into the Director of Power Trading. Key Qualifications / Experience Having a broad understanding of international power and gas fundamentals. Analytical mindset and strong ability to navigate the markets. 3+ years of relevant quantitative experience. Master’s degree in finance, mathematics, economics, or a relevant field. Strong attention to detail, and numerical accuracy. Located in Denmark.
