Stock Controller

My client is a leading Manufacturer and Distributor in the Metal Industry and are looking to recruit an experienced Stock Controller for their team. Based at their modern offices you will be responsible for responsible for monitoring, managing the inventory including materials, inventory control, and responsible for managing day to day inventory tasks. The role involves working closely with the Inventory Manager in assisting with specific needs and tasks in line with the business needs. Your responsibilities within this role will include liaising with suppliers and Import departments regarding overseas shipments and timescales. Dealing with queries, resolving issues etc. Responsible for Periodic Cycle Counts and reviewing aged Inventory. The Successful candidate will have a least 3 years experience within a Stock Controller or Inventory position. Ideally having previously worked within a Metal or Steel Industry. Have an excellent eye for detail and be able to maintain and build good relationships with external and internal customers. You will need to be proficient with Microsoft word and be able to work under pressure. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm Salary is £40,000 per annum
