WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

This home-office based outside sales position will generate sales by calling on a network of established and prospective distributors, wholesalers, end-users, and national accounts. Prospecting will include calling on end-users (e.g., hospitals, restaurants, hotel chains) in the Quebec City territory and surrounding areas (Levis, Trois-Rivieres) up to Drummondville. This position reports to our Montreal based District Sales Manager.

As a Territory Sales Manager, in addition to making daily sales calls, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with colleagues in a professional manner that fosters harmony and increases productivity within the company and department/division.
  • Completing necessary paperwork and participating in occasional tradeshows, meetings, and other events as required.
  • Analyzing customer and business inquiries and opportunities, and negotiating alternative solutions in areas of service, quality, pricing, and representation.
  • Bridging different aspects of customers and the marketplace to identify needs, motives, and solutions.
  • Actively securing and reporting market and competitive information related to the current activity of selling Dart products.
  • Systematically addressing customer inquiries in areas of service, quality, and pricing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  HERE ARE THE CORE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS YOU BRING: 

  • Educational Requirement: A degree from an accredited college/ university is preferred or qualifying B2B sales experience.
  • Language: Proficiency in French and English languages, written and verbal.
  • Location: Preference will be given to candidates residing in the Quebec City area.
  • Experience: A minimum of 18 months of recent B2B sales experience. The role should have involved selling a product or service to a customer or business.
  • Work Environment: The candidate should have a dedicated home office workspace. Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Travel: The candidate must be willing and able to travel overnight, 15-20% of the time during the year, both domestically and to our US offices.
  • Skills: Strong analytical abilities, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are essential.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience/ability to quickly learn CRM software tools, particularly Salesforce, is preferred. The candidate should also be familiar with PC and applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
