Ward Nurse (Ophthalmic) – Part time – Up to £36,000 pro rata – Maidstone An exciting opportunity has arisen in a leading Eye Hospital in the Maidstone area, for an experienced Ward Nurse to join their highly skilled and supportive team. Role Responsibilities: * You will be responsible for delivering in all aspects of the Ophthalmic service, including surgery * Providing care to all patients, with specific responsibility for diagnostic testing, pre-operative assessment, peri-operative and post-operative care in the surgical and refractive suite of the hospital Qualifications: * RGN or ODP qualification with relevant registration * A qualification in Ophthalmology or Peri operative care and previous experience in Ophthalmology or Outpatients would be desirable but isn’t not essential Skills Required: * Experienced and confident in a day surgery / operating theatre / outpatient setting * A minimum of one year post qualification experience * Strong organisational and communication skills * Ability to work effectively in a team environment * Commitment to maintaining professional standards and ongoing learning Please contact Siobhan Dyson at Servisource Healthcare to apply on (phone number removed)
