Job Title: Teacher of English Location: Milton Keynes Salary: Day-Rate to Scale: M1 - UPS3 Contract Type: Temporary Initially, with the Potential for Permanent Placement Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (Full Teacher Responsibilities) Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher of English for a temporary role at a school in Milton Keynes. This position involves full teaching responsibilities, including planning and marking, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across various year groups. Take full responsibility for lesson planning, teaching, and assessment. Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives.Requirements: Ideally, candidates will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Strong subject knowledge in English and a commitment to inspiring students. Effective classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
