Job Description Teledyne e2v Semiconductors SAS, located in Saint-Egrève (9km from Grenoble), has been a specialist in semiconductors since 1955. Our company designs and manufactures high-reliability electronic components and systems for aerospace, defense, medical, industrial, and scientific markets. Our site of 400 employees brings together research and development teams, production workshops, and support services for two areas of activity: Machine Vision Sensors (MVS) for image sensors and cameras with space, industrial, and medical applications.Semiconductors for microprocessors and fast data converters with aerospace and defense applications. Team Overview: Within our Semiconductors division, a team of about forty people designs and industrializes data conversion products for various markets (industrial, military, space). I am Etienne, the head of the validation and engineering team (17 people), responsible for developing component housings, characterizing, testing, industrializing components, and ensuring the compliance of delivered products. I am looking for a physicist and/or electronics engineer to join the electronic component housing development team. Main Responsibilities: Design and develop housings for high-reliability converters and microprocessors.Provide support to clients, the design team, and assembly. Your tasks will be varied and will allow you to be both technical and interface with technical teams: Participate in the development of new products with design teams.Stay updated on housing technology to guide choices effectively.Design housings (substrate drawings, thermal, thermomechanical, electromagnetic signal modeling, and power network modeling).Oversee housing development (internally or externally).Monitor qualification and failure analysis.Support clients and assembly for all existing housings. Profile Required: Basic technical skills: Electronics (RF), Physics (thermal, thermomechanical), use of routing and simulation tools, professional English.Additional skills: Knowledge of transmission line routing and power network design, CBGA, CCGA, BGA, SiP housings, and assembly techniques for these housings. Familiarity with Cadence tools (APD, SiP, PowerDC, PowerSI, XtractIM), Ansys (HFSS, SiWave), AutoCAD, or Comsol.Soft skills: Curiosity, priority management, synthesis skills, teamwork. I am looking for someone with solid experience in routing electronic boards or housing substrates. You will enjoy the positive atmosphere of the team and the passion of the people you will work with.
