Commissioning Engineer Opportunity About our client Our client is a growing independent business based in South West London and are now looking for a COMMISSIONING ENGINEER / LEAD FIRE ALARM ENGINEER to join thier Technical Engineering team as our subject matter expert. Our client's business works with a diverse range of clients – and with 85% of the work based within the M25 – this is a great opportunity for a professional, London-based Engineer to join our business on a key project. The Role of the Commissioning Engineer * Has led a team of Fire Alarm Engineers – managing their schedule, mentoring their development and ensuring their work is up to standard. * The Commissioning Engineer is a confident Project Manager – capable of overseeing multiple small works/installations / upgrades to existing systems as well as routine maintenance of installed systems. * The Commissioning Engineer is conversant with the appropriate commissioning, servicing and installation clauses within the relevant parts of BS5839, BS7671, Building Regulations, and any other relevant standards, and be capable of applying these to the commissioning and servicing of installed systems. * The Commissioning Engineer is capable of Fire Alarm Design, Technical reviews and managing the estimating / quote process. * The Commissioning Engineer will be working independently or as leader of a dynamic install/service team. * The Commissioning Engineer responds to technical queries from our valued clients Expected knowledge and experience * · At least 2 years of experience working as a Lead Fire Alarm Engineer / Manager. * Expertise across a range of systems. Experience with Gent, Notifier or EMS is also desirable. * Comprehensive understanding of British Standards ( BS5839-1 ), BAFE / FIA requirements * FIA Certification – ideally all 5 modules. * Full UK Drivers Licence (Essential) * The right to work in the UK and undergo an Enhanced DBS check Package of the Commissioning Engineer * Salary up to £55,000 * 30 days annual leave including banks * Company van with personal use * Mobile phone, laptop, van tools uniform * Nest pension * company events * Career progression Apply today for the Commissioning Engineer Opportunity
