I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area. I am currently searching, on behalf of my client, a company on the island of Montreal, for an assistant controller. This is a permanent position with remote work. Your responsibilties: * the month-end process, including reporting for entities of the group, consolidation process, and year-end review and audit processes under ASPE. * investigate and implement new processes to improve the timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting. * inventory costing and coordinating with the business to investigate issues. * documentation of all processes and procedures are up to date and the appropriate controls are in place for all financial processes under your responsibility. * monthly profit-and-loss analytics for management's use, and reviewing the monthly balancesheet-binders. * the standardization of data. * of all statutory and government auditsDo you think this position is made for you?
