Field Service Engineer

Job Summary As the Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the planned and unplanned maintenance activities of our equipment. You will have the knowledge and skills to service, repair and fault find all mechanical Haskel and BuTech related products whilst maintaining a high level of theoretical and technical support to our customer base whilst carrying out service visits. Responsibilities * Carry out on site servicing of equipment * Answer technical queries from customers and provide over the phone support * Install and commission Haskel equipment * Respond to breakdowns in line with service agreements * Ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to on site and in the factory * Carry out user training where required of Haskel systems Basic Qualifications Driving licence HNC/HND in mechanical engineering (Desired) Knowledge of liquid pumps, gas boosters and air amplifiers Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements UK and Europe travel expected depending on service requirements, expectation to be away 50% -75% of the time Key Competencies * Clear communicator * Customer focused * Good systems knowledge * Quality driven * Knowledge of P&ID’s * Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills What we Offer 25 days holiday and bank holidays (Option to purchase additional 5 days) 7% Employer pension contribution Westfield Health medical cash plan cover Death in service benefit of 4 x salary Cycle scheme (after probation period) 10% of salary in shares (after one year of employment) Employee assistance program Enhanced maternity & paternity policies LinkedIn Learning access Company Van
