This full time role is in person at our Calgary, AB HQ - our Google-meets-Willy Wonka factory where the magic happens!

YOUR MISSION:

The mission for this role is to build Righteous sales and brand value via the creation of a rabid and multiplying fan base.

As a leader within the Righteous Marketing Team, this role has three main responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership, energy and creativity to our marketing efforts with a focus on delivering world-class social and digital brand communication
  • Drive rapid growth of the Experiences Business Unit, which includes Brand Activations, Food Truck Events, and in-Person Experiences such as Gelato Academy and Tour & Tastings
  • Ensure that all of our external interactions with Fans, Partners, Customers, etc. deliver an above-expectation experience.

Reporting to the President, the Brand Experience Manager is a hands-on leader who is the first impression of the brand. You will share our story digitally and lead the Experience team to success through superior planning and the attention to detail that delivers outstanding execution and an incredible fan experience.

These experiences include the big things like Brand Sponsorships, Activations that may occur in the community, at a trade show or in our factory via Tours, Tastings and Gelato Academies. It’s also the little things that leave a big impression, like the best customer experience on the phone, at the door, or at a sampling inside a grocery store.

Regardless of where or when, you take true ownership, and are excited to take this area of the business to a whole new level! You’ll think outside the box on opportunities and drive revenue and profitability growth through your innovation.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE TABLE?

TOP SKILLS: Project Management, Time Management, Customer Service, Business Acumen, P&L, Business Development, Event Planning and Execution

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven Social and Digital marketing success
  • You have strong financial acumen, having managed a budget and ideally been responsible for growing sales and profitability.
  • You’ve led people and teams and know that it’s best done from the front!
  • Ideally you’ve had experience in customer service and know what it takes to make a customer a Fan!
  • Ideally you’ve worked with brands and have experience in taking them to another level (experiential marketing, event management, grassroots marketing, etc.)
  • Nice to haves are Food Safe Certificate and Cafe or Food Service Experience

  • Flexibility within schedule may include early mornings, evenings, split shifts, and occasional weekends,
  • Ready to jump in and get your hands dirty - willingness to go above and beyond
  • Ability to utilize business tools and software such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Very strong familiarity and ability to administer social media and digital marketing platforms, Facebook, Instagram, Google, SEO tools, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills - your words reflect enthusiasm for other humans and embody the Righteous brand voice
  • Strong experience working with vendors and managing vendor relations

A DAY IN THE LIFE - YOUR ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Live the brand and our 8 core virtues & evangelize our delicious creations with passion in everything you do.
  • Demonstrate commitment and involvement in our pursuit of making the world more awesome through participation in our Social and Environmental programs, events, initiatives and goals
  • Follow Righteous Good Manufacturing and Hygiene Practices and Food Safety and Quality Policies and Procedures

LEADERSHIP

  • Build, gain alignment and support of an amazing annual marketing plan.
  • Project manage major Brand Experiences and Sponsorship execution, including or similar to Calgary Folk Music Festival, Global Fest, Trade Shows, etc.
  • Proactively explore innovative and impactful ways to improve processes, experiences and revenue opportunities.
  • Explore cost efficiencies and marketing opportunities.
  • Set and execute quarterly goals and strategies for key KPIS as well as individual performance initiatives.
  • Manage all activities of Brand Ambassadors and external marketing partners.
  • Oversee gelato manufacturing plan for events, and donations when needed.

EXPERIENCE EXECUTION (Directly or via the Experience team)

  • Work with internal and external partners to execute the annual marketing plan
  • Manage execution of all external app and delivery platforms.
  • Manage communication with external shipping partners
  • Manage and systemize day-to-day inventory tracking
  • Work alongside innovation to create new and seasonal flavors where required.
  • Safely learn to operate all required equipment to make the best quality product.
  • Ensure all required equipment is always clean and ready to go!

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Communicate with the customers you’ve worked hard to get
  • Ensure all external interactions with the brand deliver a 5-star Righteous experience.
  • Be the actual face (and voice), of Righteous! Own every direct interaction with our fans and partners - answering the phone and door, fan inquiries with energy, positivity creating a wow!
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned. This is taking care of little things that are big things, no task is too small for you.
