Prospero Teaching are looking for a Special Needs Teacher to start within a specialist vibrant and supportive SEND School based in Chorley. The role is to start in January 2025, and will run for the academic year. The school caters for those with a variety of social, emotional, physical, and learning difficulties, including autism and visual impairment. The school are looking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic class teacher who will join a dedicated team. We require a teacher with a passion for teaching and the ability to grow, nurture and develop children. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Chorley Position SEND Teacher Type of work SEND Teacher Start date January 2025 Contract type Long term temp Full time/part time Full time Minimum rate of pay Minimum rate GBP160 per day Hours 8:15 am 4pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, PGCE or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year is desirable but not essential as Prospero Teaching offer free a course.
