Your Impact
  • Design and construct data systems to facilitate efficient processing and integration of data from diverse third-party API sources, including Amazon, Stripe, Shopify, 3PL, and inventory systems.
  • Engineer and refine data processing pipelines, encompassing data retrieval, staging, transformation, and loading, to ensure smooth data access across Carbon6's platforms and data channels.
  • Engage with interdisciplinary teams, such as software developers and domain specialists, to comprehend data needs and guarantee that data solutions are in sync with organizational objectives.
  • Pinpoint avenues to bolster data quality, governance, and security protocols, upholding adherence to industry benchmarks and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive data evaluations to discern patterns, trajectories, and valuable insights, fostering data-centric decision-making within Carbon6.
  • Assess and adopt cutting-edge technologies and instruments to amplify data processing potential and fine-tune data infrastructure and efficiency.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
  • Solid track record as a Data Engineer for a minimum of 2 years, actively involved in crafting and sustaining data systems in intricate settings.
  • Evident proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, both managed and unmanaged, data storage solutions like RedShift, Snowflake, and AirFlow, complemented by familiarity with AWS infrastructure tailored for data workflows.
  • Robust expertise in assimilating and processing data from third-party API sources, emphasizing integrations from Stripe and other industry-standard payment providers.
  • Comprehensive grasp of data engineering principles, methodologies, and tools, encompassing data retrieval, staging, transformation, and loading.
  • Familiarity with best practices in data quality management, governance, and security.
  • Exceptional analytical prowess, coupled with the capability to dissect intricate data compilations and extract significant interpretations.
  • Stellar teamwork and communication skills, adept at seamlessly collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience working on an Agile team with 1- or 2-week sprints, Scrum, and daily standups
