Battery Cell Raw Material Cost Engineer & ExpertBattery Cell Raw Material Cost Engineer & ExpertContractCDIStatusCadreThe Raw Material Expert is accountable for the technical performance, industrial and economical knowledge of raw materials used for battery cell production and fuel cell technologies, including extraction (mining), refining processes, precursor processes, and related cost structures.The Raw Material Expert will assist the worldwide teams supporting cell cost engineers and internal stakeholders for strategic decisions.MissionContribute to the raw material strategic vision for Stellantis.Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge on raw materials mining, refining, and related costs, through continuous contacts and visits with external stakeholders (miners, precursors, cell suppliers).Provide long-term techno-economical guidance and direction for individuals and project products.ActivityBuild and maintain techno-economical competencies based on technical requirements and cost model development.Support the evaluation and negotiation with raw material suppliers and precursors.Support the should-cost evaluation of Tier 1 and technical discussions with Tier 2.Evaluate GWP (Global Warming Potential).Operate in close conjunction with engineering, project, and purchasing teams to achieve competitive process costs, complying with all technical, time, and quality requirements for current and future raw material technologies/types.Work with suppliers to evaluate process solutions to ensure Stellantis' competitiveness.Stakes and Job EnvironmentMulticultural environment covering a worldwide perimeter, supporting engineering, raw material purchasing, cost engineering, and GWP teams.ProfileMaster's Degree in Chemical Industrial Engineering or equivalent.5+ years of experience in refining areas, precursors, or cell manufacturing facilities.Deep knowledge of cell structure, technology, and materials, specifically raw materials and related processes & costs (properties, mining, refining).Ability to interface with all levels of the enterprise across multiple organizations and regions.Teamwork and negotiation skills.Good communication and interpersonal skills.CountryEurope, FranceLanguages #J-18808-Ljbffr
