We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a knack for building and nurturing client relationships, and a strong understanding of the workwear industry. As a Business Development Manager, you will be at the forefront of expanding our Industry Uniforms business. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a growing area, build strong customer relationships, and drive substantial business growth. This role is based at our Head Office in Arncliffe, while the position will initially focus on establishing relationships and growing the business locally, there will be opportunities to travel as you develop in the role and begin meeting with clients and attending events. What you’ll do Identify and pursue potential clients requiring workwear solutions through targeted market research and outreach. Actively prospect for new business opportunities. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and objectives. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable agreements. Encourage customers to place bulk orders by highlighting the benefits of discounted rates and customised options available. Partner with customers to understand their unique needs and provide tailored uniform solutions, including customisation options that incorporate logos, branding, and other personalised elements. Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in industry uniforms and related accessories to effectively advise customers. Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities. What we offer Ongoing development

What will make you successful Demonstrated experience in sales or business development, preferably within the uniform or apparel industry. Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on driving revenue growth and profitability. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving targets. Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
