***HR Manager*** ***Hybrid in Edmundstun, Canada***Must Have's:Experience in a manufacturing environmentUnderstanding of Unionized and non-Unionized labour laws About the role: Our client is on the lookout for a key player, an exceptional HR manager , to join their team and play a pivotal role leading HR in Canada. As the HR Manager, you will manage a team of around 4 HR Generalists, while supporting and managing the day-to-day task for about 7 different facilities.Responsibilities:Manage HR Generalists and specialist in Canada.Collaborate with North American Benefits manager to ensure compliance of benefits, LOA's, RRSP.Fostering a positive work environment.Ensuring compliance with Canadian Employment Laws - must be well versed in Eastern and Central Canadian Employment Law.Collaborate with the HR Director on HR projects.Build and recommend programs that will improve the employee experience.Manage plant and office recruiting to ensure all facilities remained staffed.Serve as primary contact Union Rep.Other work-related duties as assigned. Qualifications:The ideal candidate for this role should possess extensive HR management experience, a profound understanding of unionized & non-union labor laws, and exceptional leadership and communication skills.5+ years as an HR Manager in a manufacturing environment.7+ years in Human Resources (generalist or business partner).5+ years managing in a unionized environment.Experience creating compliant employment agreements and termination letters.Strong leadership experience, previous experience managing Sr. HR Generalists and managers.Strong conflict-resolution skills.Experience HR Software and tools - HRIS, ATS.Team player, collaborative.Solid communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills, active listener, empathetic.Champions inclusion to ensure a psychologically safe work environment.Ability to travel up 15-20% within Canada
