The Timmins West mine is locatedapproximately 18 kilometers west of Timmins, Ontario, one of the world’s mostprolific gold camps. Mineralization is associated with the Porcupine-Destorfault system within the Abitibi greenstone belt. The Timmins West mine iscomprised of the Timmins deposit, the Thunder Creek deposit, and the 144 Gapdeposit. All three deposits are interconnected by underground drifts.

Job Description
In this position, you will be responsiblefor material handling to underground storages, build paste walls and installpaste lines. You will be responsible for installation of shot crete walls,installations/maintenance of ventilation ducts and fans,installation/maintenance of all underground pumps and pumping systems, monitorand maintain all pipe lines. Installations/maintenance of grizzlies, orepasses, bumper blocks and timbered manways. Minor rehab projects.

Qualifications
- Previous construction experience isrequired. Candidates with surface-only experience will be stronglyconsidered.
- Must be able to operate a jackleg andstopper
- Drilling experience with a blockholedrill would be an asset
- Experience with concrete work,installation of timbers and specialized ground support, forming, ventdoors, walls, refuge stations, and welding would be considered an asset
- Be committed to safety
- Basic UG Hard Rock Common Core modulesare an asset
- Modules U0085B, U0063 would beconsidered an asset
