Assistant Site Manager Location: East Midlands, Nottingham Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Monday to Friday Primary Industry: Construction, new build housing, traditional build Salary: £37,000 - £47,000 per annum + package  Package: bonus scheme, car allowance or company car, private pension scheme, private healthcare, life insurance, additional benefits Qualifications: CSCS, First Aid, SMSTS, Scaffold Inspection, Full UK Driving Licence Job Duties: - Assist the Site Manager in overseeing the construction site - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers - Monitor progress and quality of work - Assist in managing project time lines and budgets - Resolve any issues that arise on site - Support in managing site personnel - Report to the Site Manager on a regular basis - Uphold company standards and policies Required Qualifications: - CSCS certification - First Aid certification - SMSTS certification - Scaffold Inspection certification - Full UK Driving Licence Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: - Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager position overseeing traditional house building - Knowledge of construction processes and regulations including NHBC - Strong communication and leadership skills - Ability to work well under pressure - Problem-solving skills - Good organisational and time management abilities Working Conditions: - On-site in Nottingham with occasional travel to the office - May involve working in varying weather conditions - Regular interaction with site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers - Travel between different sites may be required If you want to hear more about this opportunity, please call Chloe of Thorn Baker on (phone number removed)
