Job Title: Pricing Analyst Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST Contract: Full-Time Permanent Location: Remote, with occasional visits to head office in Ayr, Ontario Overall Responsibilities The Pricing Analyst is responsible for ensuring accuracy and structure in the pricing processes for the company including in fee schedules, quotations and specific project modelling, as well as through the development and ongoing support for self-service pricing tools to be utilized throughout the organization. This position acts as a liaison and supports the Business Development, Sales, and Accounting functions. This role will be instrumental in driving pricing increase initiatives as well as developing a culture of regular pricing reviews and increases, while promoting and fostering the DriverCheck culture and values in all activities. Main Functions Pricing FunctionsPlay an integral role in client pricing by ensuring accuracy and feasibility with current billing system;Working with the Sales and Business Development teams to develop client pricing for RFP’s;Create, maintain, track and organize client quotes, pricing agreements and client rebate programs;Monitor contracted prices and agreements for expiration dates and renewals; Verify customer pricing and accuracy through regular reasonability reviews, focusing on areas for process improvement. Specific internal price checking audits as required;Identify possible or missed billing opportunities and assist with the implementation of any necessary tracking;Coordinate regular fee reviews and maintain a culture of consistent reviews and increases;Coordinate and implement new or amended fees through creation and distribution of fee details, including provision of necessary information to inform Client Support for client notification;Review significant supplier fee increases or significant internal process or regulatory changes and analyzing impact on current fee structures;Develop the pricing and co-ordinate the implementation of pricing for new services or products;Develop and provide ongoing support for self-service pricing tools to be utilized throughout the organization;Identify and implement continuous improvements to the pricing function, and associated interactions across the organization.  Annual Fee IncreaseMaintain the fee increase model and associated analytics processes;Review and propose areas for application of the annual fee increase; Coordinate and implement new or amended fees associated with the annual fee increase process, including liaising with Sales, Marketing & Client Support to ensure effective distribution of information. Billing FunctionsAssist with the testing of new billing functionality to ensure that it meets the expectations of the relevant pricing model. Reporting Functions Run, compile, and distribute regular pricing and revenue reports (e.g. new and quit clients with associated revenue and monthly sales revenue report) using a variety of reporting tools such as e2 and Zoho CRM;Assist in sales analysis of customer base as required to help define situational opportunities or concerns;E2 reporting subject matter expert as it pertains to client pricing, revenue and volumes to design, test and implement new reports or report changes;Analysis of pricing errors and corrections;Create and maintain detailed P&L reports for customer accounts as required;Other reporting and analysis, as directed. Operational Functions Liaison with Sales and Business Development for pricing related projects and activities; Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to gather relevant information to ensure pricing accuracy; Multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively in order to optimize productivity and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment; Follow DriverCheck’s policies and procedures; Work independently and in a team environment; Work a flexible schedule when required. Customer Service Ensure high levels of quality and professional customer service;  Communicate in a professional manner to ensure a high level of customer service; Work to create a service driven process; Service excellence is a core expectation. Health and Safety Demonstrate commitment to health and safety; Set a standard of performance and behaviour (lead by example); Promote health and safety awareness; Correct unsafe practices or conditions. Other duties as may be assigned by the Company. QUALIFICATIONS Education & Experience 5+ years of experience in pricing related roles; Experience in healthcare services industry is highly desirable; Bachelor degree in finance or business related field or equivalent associated qualifications. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Advanced excel knowledge, including but not limited to the use of complex formulas and PowerQuery; Proficient use of other Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to the use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; Data Analytics & Data Mining skills, including experience utilizing SQL Queries or MongoDB Queries is highly desirable; Use of Business Intelligence tools, such as PowerBI; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
