Supply Teaching Assistant Location: Uxbridge Position: Supply Teaching Assistant Rate of Pay: £85-£100 per day (inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay) About Us: Academics is the leading education recruitment company in London. The Role: Are you a positive and adaptable SEND teaching assistant looking for flexible work within an SEND school in Uxbridge? As a Supply Teaching Assistant with Academics, you will have the opportunity to work within a fantastic school located in the Uxbridge area where you will be comfortable working in different classroomsto provide tailored support to individual children. Key Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional support to SEND children both 1:1 and in groups - Adapting to various school environments and teaching methods. - Engaging with students to foster a positive learning atmosphere. - Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement development plans - Help pupils develop their social and emotional skills, promoting their overall well-being To apply for this SEND Teaching assistant role you will require: - Previous experience working with pupils with special educational needs is preferred. - A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with SEND. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues. - Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of pupils. - Either live in Uxbridge or within a commutable distance Please note this is a temporary role that eventually could lead to a permanent position in the future. You must have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for now to be considered for this position.
