Senior Contracts Manager

JN Technical are recruiting a Senior Contracts Manager on behalf of a Tier 2 structural engineer who specialise in the fabrication and erection of large scale steel buildings. As the new Contracts Manager you will have overall control of the planning, design, manufacture, installation and commercial delivery of each project. Experience managing steel frame structures in excess of 500+ tonnes is essential. You must also have a proven ability to manage multiple projects, under your own initiative. Our clients head quarters is in the South West, however their site operations extend nationwide. As the Contracts Manager you will primarily be office based, but occasional site visits and working away will be required. Contracts Manager Competence: - Be IT literate in word and excel and have an excel command of the English language both oral and literal. - Have a comprehensive knowledge of JCT contracts. - Monitoring of project programmes to ensure that deadlines are met - Have a sound commercial understanding of large scale contract - Sub-Contractor and Client liaison - Experience delivering steel projects in excess of 500+ tonnes Contracts Manager Desirable Qualifications: - Construction Management Related Degree (or equivalent) - IOSH - CSCS Black Managers Card. - AP
