Make an impact with our Assurance Innovation team as a Manager. Responsibilities
- Manage and complete initiatives and tasks, ensuring successful execution and alignment with the Assurance Innovation Strategic Plan
- Collaborate with Assurance leaders, stakeholders, and team members to identify areas for innovation and process optimization across Assurance services
- Assist in the identification of emerging technologies, data analytics, and advanced methodologies to enhance the quality and efficiency of Assurance services
- Work with stakeholders through the ideation, design, and implementation phases to complete innovation projects and initiatives; delivering solutions that transform the Assurance practice and provide value to clients
- Support the development and execution of the Assurance Innovation strategy by aligning with the firm's overall business objectives and goals for the Assurance practice
- Identify and document business requirements for Assurance Innovation initiatives, ensuring clear and comprehensive specifications to guide project development and implementation
- Build and maintain relationships with key global vendors in the Assurance Innovation space
- Support the development and delivery of training programs and provide thought leadership content and guidance to build Assurance team member capabilities.
- Specifically in the areas of emerging technologies, data analytics, and innovation methodologies
- Stay current on emerging trends and technologies and collaborate with other innovation leaders across the firm to share best practices, foster a culture of innovation, and drive cross-functional initiatives
- Contribute to the maintenance of knowledge base materials for team members
Skills and Experience
- Completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or similar designation
- At least 5 years of assurance experience in a professional services firm, with exposure to innovation or transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of the Assurance industry, regulations, and standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and functions across the firm
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a basic understanding of data analytics and emerging technologies in Assurance
- Willingness to learn and stay current on emerging trends and technologies in the Assurance industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and meeting deadlines
- Any of the following would be considered an asset:
- Experience with developing and delivering training programs and thought leadership content
- Experience with supporting successful innovation initiatives that deliver tangible business results and client value
- Project management experience involving the management of cross-functional teams and budgets
