Freelance Site Engineer

Elvet Recruitment are recruiting for a Freelance Site Engineer (start date 1st July 2024) on behalf of a long-standing regional main contractor for a new site starting in Bridlington, Scarborough. The project is a medium scale Highways & Civils scheme and is working closely with the client - local authority. The works will include: drainage, road construction, kerbing and general civils & the Engineer will be responsible for: setting out, QA, as-builts, surveys etc. The contractor are delivering this as main contractor & the Site Engineer will be involved with the Site Manager to coordinate some overseeing of sub-contractors & direct staff. All work is based on site in Bridlington and site is running for 30 weeks. This Engineer will ideally see this project out from start to finish & with this contractors strong workload there's every chance further work could be secured in local area.
