Job Description
As a DV cleared Data Migration Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in an innovative sector that impacts national security. You will join a dynamic team that offers clear career progression and continuous learning opportunities.
You will be responsible for analysing requirements and designing data migration solutions, implementing, testing and configuring code using traditional RDBMS or Big Data approaches, following industry practices and standards, collaborating with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles, and troubleshooting and resolving complex data migration issues.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (SQL, Python, Scala).
- Strong knowledge of data storage solutions (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elastic, Hadoop, MongoDB, etc.).
Eligibility criteria include MOD DV Clearance, UK National status, and flexibility to travel as required.
- Competitive salary: £63,000 - £73,000.
- £5,000 DV bonus.
- Hybrid working arrangement (3 days per week on-site).
