Procurement Lead

Department: Procurement Role Purpose: To oversee a team and take responsibility for all aspects of the organisation's material sourcing. Key Responsibilities: * Provide market intelligence and updates on new materials and applications to the Sales team. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential suppliers to position the organisation as their preferred customer. * Support commercial objectives by negotiating optimal pricing to secure new business and foster long-term growth. * Regularly review material costs and identify opportunities to maintain or improve profit margins. * Monitor market trends and adapt to changes in material availability. * Ensure that all materials purchased meet customer specifications and comply with relevant legislation and regulations. * Work with suppliers and logistics teams to minimise working capital without compromising customer service. * Collaborate with suppliers to enhance their On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance. * Support ongoing product development by sourcing new materials and suppliers.
