Finance Accounting Lead

Role: Finance Accounting Lead Location: Sheffield - Hybrid working Duration: Permanent Rate: £37k to £41k Sector: Public Sector Sellick Partnership are looking to appoint to a Finance Accounting Lead for our Public Sector client in Sheffield. Purpose of the Job - Finance Accounting Lead: To support the Accountancy Manager in proactively contributing towards the efficient and effective delivery of the organisations strategic objectives Responsible for the preparation of draft statutory accounts, fixed assets accounting and treasury management in compliance with relevant accounting and treasury management codes of practice Key Responsibilities - Finance Accounting Lead: Develop and improve the financial management, control and reporting process Produce Annual Statement of Accounts Maintaining an internal financial control, policy and procedural framework To manage and maintain the Fixed Asset Register Lead on year-end procedures and processes Treasury Management Person Specification- Finance Accounting Lead: Fully qualified is desirable Public Sector experience is ideal but not essential Statement of Accounts experience Benefits - Finance Accounting Lead: Flexible working pattern Generous holiday allowance Excellent Pension scheme We encourage interested candidates to apply immediately for this fantastic Finance Accounting Lead Opportunity.
