We are accountable for our unique reservation platform, used both by Airlines and Distribution actors.With the travel industry rapidly changing, the RES organization is involved in key on-going and new projects at the crossroad of all the business units.We are also working on technical challenges, on our platform’s modernization (e.g. peaking our applications, migrating to the cloud).The VAS team (Validation & Storage) is responsible for the PNR databases, and the core services associated to them along with some critical applications (OBE and ACS) with very stringent operational constraints in terms of transaction throughput and system availability.Building a great product takes a great team. Here, everyone has an impact on the software we build and run, and on the millions of travelers relying on it every day.Are you the C++ Senior Software Development Engineer / Scrum Master we are looking for?You will work in a SAFe organization, closely with the train triumvirat (RTE, PM, System Architect), with other Scrum Masters and Product Owners, and with multiple Amadeus actors (Platform, Airline, Distribution, etc.) to deliver a stable, scalable, performant PNR storage service. Your Main Responsibilities Software Development:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions aligned with business objectives.Utilize your deep technical expertise to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.Lead architectural discussions and contribute to technical decision-making, fostering innovation and product excellence.DevOps:Establish and maintain efficient deployment pipelines, constantly improving our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.Collaborate with development and platform teams to automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications in cloud and on-premises environments.Implement and manage infrastructure as code.Technical Leadership:Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.Collaborate with stakeholders to refine user stories, translating them into technical requirements and tasks.Contribute to the development of coding standards, best practices, and guidelines to maintain code quality and consistency.Continuous Improvement:Drive a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating processes and suggesting enhancements for increased efficiency, quality, and team morale.Monitor project metrics and key performance indicators to identify optimization opportunities and proactively resolve issues.Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software development, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.Collaboration and Communication:Foster effective communication within the team and with stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of goals, priorities, and progress.Collaborate with all stakeholders to align technical solutions with roadmaps and business strategies.Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, simplifying complex concepts into understandable terms.
