Senior Project Engineer (Pipeline Installation)

We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer (Pipeline Installation) to join our Pipeline Group (PG) team at our Suresnes, Paris office on a full-time, staff basis.You will be part of or leading a team of installation engineers, dealing with different pipeline installation methods (S&J Lay, reel lay) for a package of work on either a project or tender. You will support the efficient day-to-day running of the installation engineering team and provide regular operational reports on general project engineering activities, technical subject matters, and resource management. As a Senior Engineer, you will also provide guidance to other engineers on engineering subjects.What will you be doing? Supporting or leading a team of method engineers to follow project scope(s) from early engagement with our internal and external clients through to offshore execution on board our reel lay assets. Being a technical reference for pipeline installation and contributing to the sub-contractors selection. Producing installation method statements and procedures, supporting procurement activities and subcontract follow up, proactively supporting HSEQ activities and preparing and delivering technical presentations. Performing installation rigging calculations and rigging design. Assisting the Tendering department with feasibility studies, method statements, manhour estimates, schedule inputs, and costing support. Supporting installation aid procurement, fabrication, and testing follow up. Following your scope offshore on our installation vessels. What would we like you to have? You will be degree qualified in Engineering/Marine/Naval/Offshore Technology/Civil/Mechanical or equivalent. You will have relevant experience as a project engineer in a subsea engineering field, ideally within an offshore pipeline installation role, particularly in the reel lay discipline (i.e., Reel Lay, J-Lay, S-Lay). Ideally, you will have experience guiding and leading teams of engineers in project scopes. You should be a clear communicator, able to speak with all levels within the business, who is comfortable working on their own and as part of a team. What is in it for you?
