Carity is a Swiss digital health Startup founded in 2021 and on a mission to helping cardiac patients during and after cardiac rehabilitation increasing their self-confidence and motivation, enabling a better adherence to the rehabilitation program, a stronger and safer psycho-cardiological recovery and eventually a reduction of the risk of a new cardiac event. With its unique blended intervention solution and digital health platform, Carity also helps providers to optimize their process flow, support caregiver bottlenecks and eventually improve and personalize quality of care. Carity is about to be ISO 13485 certified and has its first product released as medical device in Switzerland. As the Head of Operations you will be part of the leadership team and you will take the lead with the Carity team to define, implement and optimize all required operations including product operations, procurement and delivery operations, and all payment and CRM operations. You have the ambition to enable Carity’s take off on the Swiss market, to ensure smooth operations, to enable a successful product introduction, happy stakeholders and to give the ability to Carity to scale properly as needed. You are comfortable to engage and interact with product developers, patients, cardiologists, rehabilitation teams, health providers, and health insurers. Tasks Evaluate and optimize all current operations supporting the present Carity product launch in CH. Oversee logistics, supply chain, and distribution channels to ensure efficient product availability. Coordinate with the team to align operational activities with product launch strategies. Support HCP training programs, ensuring they are well-equipped to use and recommend Carity. Develop and oversee patient engagement strategies to drive adoption and usage of Carity. Monitor patient conversion rates and work with the team to optimize related processes. Implement patient feedback mechanisms to continuously improve user experience and satisfaction. Set up and manage payment processing systems, ensuring secure and efficient transactions. Collaborate with finance to monitor revenue streams and support any optimization strategy. Manage integration operations with partners, e.g., smartwatch resellers, health coaches, insurers. Ensure seamless data and operational flow with our partners, maximize value of these partnerships. Oversee contractual agreements with partners and ensure compliance with all terms. Continuously monitor and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. Implement performance metrics to measure and improve effectiveness of operations and business. Ensure with the team that all operations comply with relevant regulatory and quality standards. Requirements You have ambition to succeed, you have a constructive, open-minded, and pro-active attitude, and you are comfortable in a start-up environment. You can cope with challenges, deal with changing situations, work independently to achieve your objectives, always driven by your mission to support patient care. You bring with you the following track record and skills: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, healthcare management, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus. Prior experience with go-to-market of innovative products and with revenues initiation and growth, preferably within the healthcare or digital (health) industry. Proven leadership skills, along with entrepreneurial experience, preferably in Startup environment. Good understanding of regulatory requirements for medical devices and healthcare products. Track record of successful partnership management and integration. Familiarity with payment processing systems and financial operations within a healthcare context.
