POSITION: Paid internship, Private Equity Analyst (Fall 2024 or Winter 2025)
REPORTS TO: VP, Walter Capital Partners
INTERNSHIP SUMMARY
Walter Capital Partners is looking to hire one (1) intern who will work closely with the entire WCP team.
The selected intern will be a key contributor to the investment team. He will work directly with a diverse group of senior professionals, entrepreneurs and operators and will contribute to the full spectrum of private equity investing including research, company valuation, transaction execution, value-creation initiatives.
The intern will be initiate to essential investment and business skills by joining a team of seasoned investment professionals looking to build market-leading companies.
The duration will be determined according to the availability of the intern (at least 3 months)
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Full-time student or recent graduate from a finance program in a Canadian university at the undergraduate (bachelor’s) or graduate (master’s, graduate diploma, PhD) level
Completed a full year of studies if Undergraduate
Completed a prior full-time finance internship (minimum 4 months)
Demonstrated academic excellence and leadership traits
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Ability to manage deadlines and multitask effectively
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
