Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We're looking for an experienced mechanical maintenance engineer to join this long standing, specialist manufacturer based in Mildenhall, Suffolk! Ideally you will come from a background in toolmaking, being a specialist in production machinery and more specifically lathe machines. This position is offering a starting salary of circa £40,000 subject to the experience of the candidate, with overtime available at increased rates of pay. Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties: Running maintenance on multispindle lathes Full disassembly/reassembly of components and machinery Replace bearings, conveyor belts etc Fault finding of machinery Operate around a 24/7 working schedule Reactive and PPM procedures You will also have 5-10 years' worth of maintenance experience working in a manufacturing setting. This role will be working around the 24/7 production of the machinery so working hours will vary.
