Global bank. ETL Developer. BAU and Greenfield. Role - ETL Developer Duration - 6 months with likely extension Location - Remote / Canary Wharf - 3 days per week in a Canary Wharf office Tech Stack ETL Data Models Pipelines Data Modelling, extraction and transformation Java, Python, ScalaRole Work with Data Analysts to design, develop and implement : - ETL mappings and workflows, data models and implement ETL pipelines Develop and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and loading process Implement complex data transformations using Python or Scala and implement unit testing Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical specifications Verify data transformation and ensure data quality, integrity and reliability throughout the ETL process Use Data Modeler for data modelling and schema design Ensure best possible performance and quality of transformed/loaded dataExperience Extensive experience with Data Migration projects primarily in ETL development, data analysis , modelling and handling Data Extraction scripts / tools, Data Transformation scripts/tools and Data load scripts /tools Experience with XML, JSON, Kafka, DevOps, Agile, PL/SQL and SQL, BI Reporting and data process automation Experience in Data Management including Data Governance and Data Quality GCS is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
