Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Location: Fernhurst
Position: Counterbalance Forklift License Driver / Warehouse Operative
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
Pay Rate: £13/hour

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our team in Fernhurst. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our operations, primarily handling 3-5 meter long plasterboards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Handling: Efficiently and safely move 3-5 meter long plasterboards using a counterbalance forklift.
• Loading and Unloading: Load and unload delivery vehicles with precision and care.
• Stock Management: Organize and manage warehouse inventory.
• Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift License: Must have a current and valid counterbalance forklift license.
• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, particularly with handling large and delicate items.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual handling tasks and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Reliability: Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
