JOB TITLE: Housing Officer JOB TYPE: Temporary PRIMARY INDUSTRY: Public Sector ADDITIONAL INDUSTRIES: Property Services and Social Care PRECISE LOCATION: Rugby DISPLAY LOCATION: Rugby SALARY: From £17.59 to £22.87 START DATE: ASAP DURATION: 6 monthly rolling JOB DETAILS: Working on behalf of a local authority, JO recruitment are looking for Housing Officers to deliver housing management services to tenants, maintaining high standards of customer care. This role will be hybrid with 4 days onsite in Rugby. Initially for 6 months with potential for extensions. This is full time position, 37 hours per week Monday to Friday paying £17.59 per hour PAYE; which is equivalent to approx £34K salary or £22.87 per hour through an umbrella. Candidates will need to have full UK driving license and access to own transport for business use. Interviews to be held in person with start date ASAP. • Deliver housing management services to tenants, maintaining high standards of customer care. • Provide advice and support to tenants through various channels, including office interviews, home visits, and telephone/email correspondence. • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to sustain tenancies and provide individual support packages. • Investigate and process housing management requests such as tenancy transfers and mutual exchanges in compliance with legislation. • Manage complaints of anti-social behaviour and neighbour disputes, taking appropriate action in conjunction with relevant agencies. • Conduct regular estate visits and health/safety inspections to ensure effective management of housing stock. • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on statistical data for service monitoring and improvement recommendations. • Full UK driving license and access to own transport for business use.
