Job Requirements / Description
Responsibilities: Managing the performance of the sales team through establishing and achieving ambitious goals, completion of tasks, and producing results that support company objectives. Developing sales strategies and providing guidance to ensure a high level of productivity. Demonstrating strong product knowledge and the ability to position the product to effectively meet physician needs. Maintaining an awareness of the industry and competition product profiles, in order to convey the competitive advantages of the company’s products versus competitors. Providing leadership to the sales team, as well as ensuring team development through feedback, encouragement, and the opportunity to take accountability and ownership of tasks. Maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external parties. Assisting with any relevant sales activities that lead to the team’s success. The Ideal Candidate Brings: A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field. An advanced degree, such as an MBA, would be considered an asset. At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical field, along with 2 or more years of experience in sales management. Strong communication skills, including bilingualism (French/English). Excellent public speaking, organizational, and leadership skills.
