An exciting leadership opportunity exists in the TasNetworks Strategy team for a

Strategy and Planning Leader. Located at Lenah Valley in Hobart's northern suburbs and reporting to the Head of Strategy, the Strategy and Planning Leader has an incredible opportunity to lead and deliver the strategic and business planning cycle for TasNetworks. This takes an engaged and active approach to ensure our people understand our company strategy and business plans and their role in bringing them to life. The Strategy and Planning Leader will lead the process to define and update TasNetworks' vision and strategy framework with the Head of Strategy, Executive Team and Board, including clear and measurable performance metrics. The Strategy and Planning Leader also provides high-quality analysis, reports, papers, presentations and briefings within agreed timeframes. About you

We are looking for a strong leader in the strategy space who can translate conceptual thinking into work packages and execute ideas of their own and others. You will use your strong leadership skills to support the team in bringing together frameworks and engaging with stakeholders to deliver and execute. You have experience working with Senior Leaders, Executive and Boards and are prepared to have challenging, educational and insightful conversations. Your engagement approach can influence outcomes and demonstrate resilience to work through objection. You are experienced with developing performance monitoring practices and metrics, driving cultural change, and managing positive change in a complex, diverse and challenging environment. Stand-out demonstrated experience with commercial acumen is non-negotiable. You will have relevant tertiary qualifications that include Business/Commerce/Economics, an MBA or significant experience in a similar role.
