Head of Renewable Energy Finance and M&A

Job title: Head of Renewable Energy Finance and M&ALocation: Paris, Île-de-France, France (Hybrid)The Head of Renewable Energy Finance and M&A will be reporting to the EVP of Finance and Corporate Strategy. You will be in charge of all project finance-related workstreams and M&A activities for Green H2 and Power-to-X projects globally.Responsibilities:Communicating with potential lenders to build relationships and sound the market;Looking to optimize structures and funding options;Assisting the business development team in negotiating project contracts (PPA, EPC, O&M) and ensuring their bankability;Negotiating term sheets and finance documentation;Overseeing financial modelling;Managing due diligence process (technical, legal, insurance, tax & accounting);Coordinating M&A efforts (preparation of marketing materials, modelling, negotiation of contracts, execution, etc) at the project and/or corporate levels.Requirements:Master’s degree in economics, finance or engineering.7-10 years of experience in project finance and/or project M&A in the energy sector within banks, investment funds and/or energy companies and developers.Fluent in English & French, with experience working in multi-cultural environments.
