Key Responsibilities: * Menu Development & Pricing: Innovate new dishes, refine recipes, and set menu prices to achieve financial and operational goals. * Food Sourcing & Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement of high-quality ingredients and manage kitchen inventory efficiently. * Kitchen Staff Management: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise all kitchen personnel, from sous chefs to line cooks. * Quality Control: Ensure food is prepared safely, meets their high standards, and is presented beautifully to customers. * Financial Oversight: Collaborate with restaurant managers to control food and labor costs, maximizing profitability. * Compliance with Health & Safety Regulations: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. Requirements: * Extensive culinary expertise in Mediterranean cuisine. * Proven experience in a leadership role within a restaurant or food service operation. * Strong business acumen and people management skills. * Ability to drive the culinary vision and ensure the highest quality standards. * Driving License and Car Required: Occasional visits to restaurants for oversight and support necessitate a valid driving license and access to a car. Details: * Location: Somerset area (Candidates not residing in Somerset will work remotely, with occasional visits advised for effective oversight.) * Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
