A strategic partner in program and student success, the SPRchampions NAIT’s educational model and provides subject matter expertise onadmissions, enrolment, and student information system solutions and data. Reportingto the Manager, Student Recruitment, this position provides administrativesupport to the Student Recruitment team. KeyResponsibilities: Providing administrative support forStudent Recruitment, including booking venues, liaising with third parties,managing registrations in the booking system, and replying to inquiries over emailand phone Supporting campus tour bookings andresponding to inquiries General administrative tasks andcoordination of the physical environment of the office, including sorting andmanaging mail, ensuring efficient functioning of team equipment and technology,scheduling of events and meetings, organizing documents and folders, payment ofinvoices, and ordering of supplies Supporting the collection andmanagement of prospect data, and pulling reports of prospect and recruitmentdata to support domestic and international recruitment team members Administration related to NAIT’sAuthorized International Representatives, including preparing, updating, andmailing documents and contracts for Authorized Representatives and gatheringall required data and documents to calculate and prepare the AuthorizedRepresentative commission packages Supporting recruitment traveladministration, including arranging for shipping and receiving of recruitmentmaterials across Alberta, Canada, and internationally Providing front-line support,answering calls, and greeting students, staff, and members of the public, asrequired, for Student Recruitment initiatives (campus tours, summer camps, events, etc.) As a member of the StudentRecruitment team, the Assistant also supports with major recruitment events andinitiatives, as needed Skills& Abilities: Advanced Proficiency in MicrosoftOffice (strong emphasis on MS Excel and Word), PeopleSoft, Adobe, and internetapplications Strong organizational skills andstrong attention to detail An understanding of basic accountingand purchasing practices Initiative and problem-solvingskills Effective time management skills, asense of urgency, and the ability to plan and prioritize daily activities in afast-paced environment Ability to work well bothindependently as well as part of a team Strong communication andinterpersonal skills, with an emphasis on excellent customer service Understanding of applicable NAITpolicies, guidelines, and procedures Knowledge of customer relationshipmanagement best practices and/or experience with customer relationshipmanagement software is an asset Qualifications: Completion of Grade Twelve Related post-secondary certificateor diploma – Office Assistant Diploma or Administrative ProfessionalCertificate or Diploma 2 to 3 years related experience Equivalencies may be considered Experience in financial processes isan asset Previous experience working at apost-secondary institution, specifically in student recruitment, is an asset Ability to work flexible hoursoccasionally to support major events. Ability to lift 25 lbs. Applicants witheducation credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentialsevaluated by World Education Services or the International QualificationsAssessment Service (IQAS). Remuneration : $44,256.94 - $ 57,140.72 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package (Classification– Admin Support IV).
