We have an exciting opportunity for a Handyperson / Contractor Escort to work on one of our NHS maintenance and repairs contracts in Bristol. This team delivers a first-class repairs service in partnership with an NHS Trust. The role will entail accompanying building contractors and completing some basic reactive/responsive repairs. Rydon Maintenance is an expanding division of the Rydon Group and is successfully providing facilities management services to a variety of clients, predominantly within the healthcare and housing association sectors. We currently provide maintenance services to over 300 buildings for 20 Trusts across the UK. Job Purpose As part of the role you will be working across two key NHS sites; Blackberry Hill Hospital and Callington Road Hospital in Bristol. This position would suit someone who is looking to learn and develop and start a career within the maintenance sector. As Handyperson / Contractor Escort your key responsibilities will include escorting contractors through the sites, minor decoration works, basic building fabric repairs and janitorial duties. Working hours are 40 per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Experience Required No formal qualifications are required for this role, although it would be beneficial for the successful candidate to have some previous basic maintenance experience.  Above you will need to be reliable and consistent and have great interpersonal skills.
