Freelance Site Manager (Water Treatment) - Hampshire Position: Freelance Site Manager Location: Hampshire, UK Project Focus: Water Treatment Facilities Future Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Freelance Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure projects. Role Overview: As a Freelance Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the water treatment project in Hampshire. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team, ensuring the successful execution of the project while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities: * Project Leadership: * Lead and manage on-site activities related to water treatment facilities. * Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. * Quality Assurance: * Monitor construction progress and quality of work. * Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly. * Implement corrective actions as needed. * Budget and Cost Control: * Assist in cost tracking, budget management, and financial reporting. * Collaborate with the commercial team to optimise project costs. * Review and approve subcontractor payments. * Schedule Adherence: * Develop and maintain project schedules. * Monitor progress against milestones and deadlines. * Mitigate delays and adjust plans as necessary. * Communication: * Liaise with project stakeholders, including engineers, designers, and clients. * Provide regular updates on project status and address inquiries. Qualifications: * Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering projects. * Familiarity with water treatment facilities or related infrastructure. * Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Relevant certifications (CITB, SMSTS, etc.) preferred. Requirements: * Availability for freelance work in Hampshire. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively. * Commitment to safety and quality standards.
