Position: Process Engineer
Location: Yeovil
Working Days: Monday – Friday
Working Hours: 38 hours (early finish on Friday)
Holidays: 33 days annual leave
Benefits: Free parking, up to £40,000 salary (dependent on experience)
Our client, a leading UK company with operations across the west of England, is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the technical and engineering development of new and existing projects, with a focus on timely and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and planning of engineering projects, including new parts and cost reduction activities
- Monitoring and controlling projects to ensure timely achievement of milestones
- Utilising existing project management tools to ensure efficient delivery
- Creating CAD models for parts and fixtures using Solid Works
- Collaborating with customers to develop acceptable drawings and specifications
- Working closely with the Engineering Manager and team to ensure designs can be achieved and delivered in a cost-effective and timely manner
Requirements:
- HNC or above in Engineering
- Proficiency in reading engineering/technical drawings
- Demonstrable project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Previous experience with CAD design
- Preferably experience with Solid Works 3D Modelling and casting technology
