About the CompanyOur client is an established construction company based out of Toronto with decades of experience successfully building Institutional projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area.About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team to oversee high-value institutional projects in the GTA.ResponsibilitiesOversees total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and scheduleLead and manage full cycle of institutional projects from ground upResponsible for overall project performance and reporting in areas including, but not limited to safety, cost/budget, schedule, quality and project statusDraft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessaryMonitors project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, safety and environment, and quality controlConducts site tours, including safety inspectionsLead by example to ensure policies, procedures and standards are adhered toMentors, coaches, supervises and assesses performance of direct reports and other team membersOversees project from pre-construction to closeoutQualifications3 plus years of Construction experience as a Construction Project Manager on Schools and or Hospital Projects a must.Required SkillsProven Track Record of completing full cycle of an Institutional new build projectAbility to manage projects valued at $20M or moreGold Seal certification and/or PMP is a plusExperience managing large contracts involving trades, consultants, construction management firmsPost-secondary diploma in a construction related disciplineExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of different construction methods, sequencing, potential problems, and timelinesFamiliar with project management and estimating software programsKnowledge of relevant construction law and building codeCompensationSalary $110,000 to $130,000 based on experience.
