In line with our continuous growth, we are in search of an accomplished Senior Civil Engineer with a focus on drainage to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: The company seeks a seasoned Senior Civil Engineer with extensive expertise in drainage design and management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading successful projects, showcasing robust technical prowess, and offering innovative solutions to intricate engineering challenges. As a key member of the team, the Senior Civil Engineer will spearhead drainage design endeavours, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure project deliverables align with client expectations and regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Spearhead the design and analysis of drainage systems across various civil engineering projects, including stormwater management, flood control, and drainage infrastructure. Conduct hydrological and hydraulic modelling to assess drainage requirements and mitigate flood risks effectively. Draft comprehensive engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for drainage systems. Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and permits. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and support staff. Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is desirable. Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a specialised focus on drainage design and management. Proficiency in modelling such as Civils3D, Microstation and Microdrainage , or similar platforms. Sound understanding of pertinent codes, standards, and regulations pertaining to drainage design (e.g., ASCE, EPA, local building codes). Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage resources efficiently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
