This role will be responsible for a portfolio of consumables products sold into Animal Health, Industrial, Construction, and Medical markets.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESLead Product Lifecycle ManagementDetermine 5 year growth plans for the product portfolio, in conjunction with market innovation and technology teams, to ensure clear and aligned growth plansDrive continuous simplification mindset, leveraging our Nordson Business System (NBS) approach, in order to focus the business on profitable growthPartner with Technology team to manage product development stage gate processesBuild business cases for product investments, including incremental product improvements and CapEx needsDrive Profitability for the Product PortfolioUnderstand the levers for growth unique to your products and build strategies and growth bridges to maximize profitability and customer satisfactionDetermine list pricing and evaluate price elasticity.Ensure Cross Functional AlignmentServe as the champion and point person for your products, enabling alignment and decision makingDevelop standard operating procedures, related to products, to provide the right direction to cross functional teams on standard product questions.Enable sales teamSegment, Target, and Position to gain with customers in growth marketsDevelop Unique Value Propositions for targeted verticals and applicationsProvide regular product trainings and partner with Marketing Communications on development of marketing toolsQualifications - RequiredBachelor's degree in business or sciences fields5+ years of work experience, with at least 3+ years of experience in B2B companies in a product management, project management, marketing or customer-facing roleStrong financial acumen and analytical mindsetExperience with stage-gate processes for product developmentAbility to lead through influence and partner with multiple different functions, including Technology, Operations, and SalesQualifications - PreferredMaster's of Business Administration (MBA)Experience working with a corporate business systemExperience with injection-molded products or plastic componentsWORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDSOffice environment.
