Building Surveyor

Our client, a distinguished consultancy specialising in rail and commercial buildings, is currently seeking a Building Surveyor to join their team based in Leeds. This is a contract position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the rail sector. Key Responsibilities: Conducting detailed building surveys on rail and commercial buildings Preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations Assessing the condition of buildings and providing appropriate solutions Managing and coordinating projects from inception to completion Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders for effective project delivery Ensuring all work is in compliance with relevant regulations and standards Providing professional advice on property and construction matters Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of building regulations and safety standards Job Requirements: Experience in building surveying, specifically within the rail and commercial buildings sector Chartered status is desirable Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and report-writing abilities Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Understanding of relevant building regulations and safety standards Proficiency in survey and project management tools Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative tea If you are an experienced Building Surveyor with a passion for the rail sector, we would love to hear from you.
