ThinkTek was formed with the specific purpose of providing its clients a tailored solution around Program & Project Management, Strategic Planning, and IT Operations.Position Description: ThinkTek is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and committed individual to join our team as a Program Manager supporting Personnel Security Adjudications for a Federal Government client. The Program Manager must have experience in managing background adjudications in the federal sector with responsibility over the adjudication process and managing other background adjudicators and support staff.**Remote Position - Must reside in DC, Maryland, or Virginia**Responsibilities:Manage Personnel Security Team Lead and Adjudicators and oversee suitability prescreening to include reviewing case files and developing a suitability/fitness recommendation based on 5 CFR 731.Perform quality review of all work performed by Personnel Security Staff.Develop team structure and maintain workload to efficiently and effectively complete adjudications in a timely manner.Prepare written analysis and propose recommendations to resolve complex issues; identify high priority cases/issues for review as required.Consult with on-site Government, security officials, and/or external Agencies as necessary to identify and resolve personnel security related issues as a subject matter expert.Serve as mentor/senior advisor to Personnel Security Adjudicators and Assistants.Required / Desired:Minimum of 3 years of experience as either a Program Manager or Deputy Program Manager overseeing Personnel Security Adjudications.Minimum of 5 years of experience performing Personnel Security Adjudications for the Federal Government (either as a government employee or contractor).Active Security Clearance Preferred.Strong understanding of 5 CFR 731.In addition to highly competitive salaries, ThinkTek offers a great benefits package to ensure we attract, motivate, and retain our talented employees.
